A Duvet Cover is a protective layer that slips over your existing duvet insert, similar to how a pillowcase covers a pillow. A Comforter is a single piece of bedding that is already filled and fluffy.

Important: If you want your bed to look plump and fluffy like in our pictures, you need to order a set that explicitly includes a 'Comforter' or purchase a duvet insert separately. If you order a standard Duvet Cover Set, it will arrive flat (like a sheet) until you fill it with your own insert.

Pillowcases and shams are functionally similar and both fit standard pillows. The main difference is style: pillowcases are designed for everyday use and sleeping, while shams are more decorative and often feature an envelope-style closure for a polished, layered bed look.

Our bedding sets do not include the fluffy insert. They are designed to be filled with your preferred duvet insert or comforter.
